Debbie West aka The West Studio is trained by the PILATESfoundation UK Ltd. As well as teaching rehabilitative, sports men & women and those who want an intelligent form of exercise, Debbie also specialises in the teaching of the Pilates method to Pre & Post Natal women. The latter is a field she wants to develop further. Debbie trained alongside doctors and physiotherapists at The Scott Studio, with Suzanne Scott, who is renowned in the Pilates field. She also teaches regularly at The Scott Studio, which is a teacher-training studio. Debbie had an office-based background and wanted a career that was truly fulfilling, so trained in Pilates. She enjoys seeing the changes in her clients and their enthusiasm for Pilates.

The Tarka Clinic is unique in that it is probably the largest osteopathic practice in North Devon, and has been in existence in some form for the past 28 years.
The Pilates Studio is unique too in that it is the only Pilates studio in North Devon that works within a practice specialising in musuloskeletal problems, the practitioners liaise extensively both with each other and with local medical practitioners, ensuring patient safety as well as comfort and effectiveness.
